Job Description:
CohesionForce is actively seeking candidates for a Maintenance/Logistics Analyst IV to work directly with Network/Mechanical/systems Engineers, other Logistics Management Analysts, Project Management, and Project and Program Managers on the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program in Huntsville, AL.
You will be defining the future of the GMD program and its long-term Sustainment by optimizing maintenance plans procedures and processes for critical parts of the evolving system. This is an opportunity to be part of the team that helps insure that if the GMD system is ever called on in defense of the nation that it will work the first time, every time.
The successful candidate should:
– Have the ability to analyze weapon system operational/maintenance data requirements and translate source data into DoD logistics products.
– Work closely with other IPT’s (Integrated Product Teams), Design Engineering IPT’s, Configuration Management Systems Engineering, and Technical Publication Writing/Editing teams.
Responsibilities include:
– Analyze and interpret technical data (e.g., drawings, specifications, test findings, etc.) to provide recommendations on system maintainability.
– Perform Maintenance Task Analysis for new system and component designs.
– Use of common logistics tools (COLTS, COMPASS, SLIC, Eagle, Powerlog-J)
– Conduct analysis, process oversight, and tracking of detailed end-item data being created as part of engineering project
– Create and update documentation to define or clarify engineering, logistics, and administrative processes
– Maintain configuration control of project data and deliverable
– Provide proactive and reactive direct support to other Logisticians, Project Engineers, and Managers working to execute numerous different Engineering Projects
– Participate in contractual and technical meetings and engineering reviews, record and capture notes and action items, track, route for review, and edit highly technical and/or complex meeting/review minutes
Basic Qualifications:
– A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s, or 8 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
– Complete understanding of all logistic elements, supportability, maintainability, logistics support analysis, MIL-STD-1388 and GEIA-0007
– Experience identifying and predicting support equipment spares and consumable rates
– Experience performing Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
– Solid written and verbal skills in order to effectively interact with Government counterparts, other defense contractor organizations and other cross-functional organization
– Ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance. An interim Secret is require to start
Preferred Qualifications:

- – Experience with Missile Defense Agency customers and aerospace industry
– 6 to 12 years’ experience as a qualified mechanic, technician, weapons, or operator in a technical field such as aircraft, ship, missile, or space systems highly desired
– Knowledge of Military Specifications, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), and other related technical and contractual documents
– Experience in Risk/Opportunity processes and management to include identification of Risks/Opportunities, meeting participation, and inputs/reporting via a Risk/Opportunity tool
– Have experience with Common Product Life Cycle Management (CPLM) programs
