Job Description:
CohesionForce is actively seeking candidates for a Scrum Master to become part of our Engineering Team in Huntsville, AL.

This position primarily works on site and requires the ability to define and convey desired system behaviors throughout the requirements development, software development, and software testing process.

Responsibilities include:

– Facilitate all team level events (PI Planning Team Breakouts, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Feature   Elaboration, Sprint Review & Retro
– Provide timely and accurate reporting of impediments, blockers, and risks to their Release Train Engineer
– Work with Release Train Engineer to set performance and growth targets for their teams
– Guides mentoring and development of agile team members
– Participate in Scrum of Scrums, Inspect and Adapt, and any adhoc sessions called by RTE or Agile Coach
– Responsible for coordinating cross-team collaboration and dependencies and reporting them to the RTE
– Ensure teamwork, progress, and artifacts are transparent to all designated stakeholders

Basic Qualifications: 

– Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience, or 4 years with Masters; 2 years with PhD
– Familiar with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
– Able to effectively communicate across all levels of the program
– Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum workflow and Kanban
– Strong problem solving and analytical skills
– Ability to lead and facilitate all Agile ceremonies
– Active/current security clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications: 

– SAFe Scrum Master certification
– Jira – issue tracking and agile project management, or similar tool
– Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
– Familiar with Agile project tools Version 1/Agility or Jira
– Agile Development lifecycle process.
